Order special collections material

Readers can order special collections material to the Weston Library reading rooms. Find out more about how to order special collections material


 

 

Request or reserve items

The Bodleian Libraries hold more than 8 million items in ‘closed stacks’, many of them offsite. You can request or reserve items via SOLO and have them delivered to the Taylor Institution Library. Most items arrive within 24 hours. Find out more about placing a request


 

 

Print, Copy and Scan (PCAS)

Print, Copy and Scan (PCAS) facilities are available in the Weston Library for self-service photocopying, scanning and printing.

For items from the Mackerras and Rare Books and Manuscripts Reading Rooms, please use the Print, Copy and Scan (PCAS) facilities in the Enquiries Area. For items from the Charles Wendell David Reading Room, please use the photocopier room adjacent to the reading room. If you are not clear about operating the photocopiers, staff will be happy to assist you, but will not be able to make copies for you.

Headley Tearoom

The Headley Tearoom is on the ground floor. Enjoy coffee, drinks and light food freshly made at Weston Library, run by award-winning restaurateur Benugo. It is the perfect place to meet up with friends or colleagues or to take a break from work.

The Headley Tearoom is open to all staff and readers of the Bodleian Libraries. For further information, contact bodleian@benugo.com. Readers are also welcome to enjoy our Bodleian Café in Blackwell Hall.
